SAP supports DEBS with a travel fund that is meant to support the attendance at the conference. Applicants can obtain a grant of roughly 500€ covering partially cost for conference registration and travel.

The selection criteria depend on

• the need of the person, e.g. the institutions has limited capacity of supporting their Ph.D. students and staff members
• the excellence of the person
• relevance of the academic track to the topics of the conference
• contribution to the conference

For application, please send a short letter/email (no longer than 1 page) to the general chairs introducing:

• the reason and need for applying for the travel funding
• indicating the research interest in DEBS 2019
• indicating whether the person has an accepted contribution at DEBS 2019 Please, also attach a CV

As the travel funds is limited, applications are ideally submitted ahead of May 15th.
